Introduction

Conducting research on prospective institutional donors can be an overwhelming process and many NGOs don’t know where to start.  This webinar will discuss some basic approaches to effective donor research methods.  A key focus will be on how to use a variety of free internet tools to identify new international grants for your NGO.

The research techniques covered in this webinar will focus on identifying grants for NGOs around the world, including: foundations in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, and Germany; government donors; and the European Commission.  A case study  will be used in this interactive online seminar to demonstrate how identify and research new donors for your NGO.

METHODOLOGY

The webinar will consist of a 60-minute presentation where you will see a presentation and hear the trainer, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, during which your questions will be answered by the trainer in real time. This course is supported by extensive additional materials for participants to use after the course, including access to the webinar video and training materials. If you miss the live webinar, you will have access to the webinar recording and the training materials.
